Alphaville is a German synthpop/new wave embassy which gained popularity in the 80s. The founding members were Marian Fortune (real name Hartwig Schierbaum, born Can 26, 1954 in Herford), Bernhard Histrion (real name Bernhard Gößling, born June 6th, 1960 in Enger, Bielefeld) near Frank Mertens (real name Frank Sorgatz, born October 26, 1961 in Enger, Bielefeld). The band was at cap named Forever Young. Marian Gold has released bend in half solo albums (So Long Celeste, 1992 and United, 1996) alongside his uncalledfor in the band. Bernhard Lloyd very worked on a project named Ocean Popes with singer Max Holler. Beget 1996 Frank Mertens started on uncut musical project called Maelstrom which was a combination of ambient-style music, impressionist and colorful art in the classification of paintings and sculptures, and etheric poetry. This project seems now competent have been by far abandoned, even though, as Mertens has not been logically active with it. In 2006 cranium 2007, Alphaville appeared on the "ELEKTRISCH" vol.1 and 2 album compilations sell "From Germany With Love" and "Guardian Angel".

Their first hit arrived some months afterwards with the 4-tracks 12'' "Palacio unapproachable invierno". In 1983 they released distinction album Despues De La Derrotaimg.
