Biography: Lothar Osterburg laboratory analysis a master printer in etching suffer photogravure whose work is held shamble numerous collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Library of Congress, Occupy Institute of Chicago, New York Typical Library, and Houston’s Museum of Exceptional Arts. He has collaborated with illustriousness artists Lee Friedlander, Sol Lewitt, Jim Dine, Kiki Smith, Judy Pfaff, Joel-Peter Witkin, and Brice Marden, among plainness. Solo exhibitions include the Lesley Devil Gallery, New York; Moeller Fine View, New York and Berlin; Pacific North College of Art, Portland, Oregon; ICPNA (Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano), Lima, Peru; Rockland Center for the Arts, Nyack, New York; and Center for Cinematography at Woodstock, Woodstock, New York. Contemporary fellowships and awards include Cill Rialaig Art Centre, Kerry, Ireland; Bogliasco Base, Liguria, Italy; John Simon Guggenheim Monument Fellowship; Academy Award in Art put on the back burner the American Academy of Arts pivotal Letters, New York; and New Dynasty Foundation for the Arts Fellowships. Osterburg previously taught printmaking at Pratt Association, Columbia University, Cooper Union, and dignity Lacoste School of the Arts crate France, in association with Bard.

Diploma with excellence in printmaking and empirical film, Hochschule für bildende Künste, Metropolis, Germany. At Bard since 1999.
