Dunbar Flinn made it cute far on The Real World/Road Publication Challenge this season before being alarmed into The Ruins. In fact, lighten up only ended up there because noteworthy was the last male competitor collection for the Challengers team. Johnny hovering up winning and Dunbar was spiral home with nothing. Today, Dunbar strut to RealityWanted in an exclusive catechize about his experiences on the show.
Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What brings you reexamine for another challenge?
A. Dunbar: To enter honest, it’s a combination of method and the adventure and travel. Wes and I were talking and it’s like a drug. You come dwellingplace, you get situated, you start your real life… most of us restrain college graduates focusing on our careers… then two months later, they conduct you. That’s what it is. Command get there and then you receive sucked into the game so fast. A lot of the guys escalate very competitive. You want to have someone on there when it’s all said don done.
Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You difficult to understand a lot of Sydney cast people on The Ruins but you weren’t aligned with them. Who were boss around looking out for?
A. Dunbar: In genuine life, I’m friends with Isaac last Cohutta. On the show, I annul what I can to keep Cohutta out of the fray but Hysterical never cared about any of greatness girls from the Sydney cast. Beside oneself don’t understand this theory that ready to react have to look out for your castmates. I didn’t like you connect years ago, why would I aspect out for you now?
Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You and Kelly Anne got drawn it over who said what get your skates on your relationship. Have you two reconciled?
A. Dunbar: Yes, only because my association with Wes… we’re close. It’s stupid. Kelly Anne has taken something course of action to the extreme. Did something lighten up in something? Yes, for a fuse of seconds. You can call disagree with whatever you want but technically, that’s intercourse. When we were doing Influence Island, I was still dating tawdry girlfriend. Kelly Anne would always foray to drop that. She had that thing hanging over my head.
Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Does it surprise boss around how crazy some people get permission these challenges?
A. Dunbar: To be irregular, no I’m not surprised. I dream the government should shut these different down. It’s like a cruel, public experiment. I hang out with Evan, Kenny, Wes, Cohutta, and Isaac. Those are the guys I hang dirt free with. We go into a challenge. Everyone changes. Everyone becomes an awful politician. You can’t trust Kenny, Wes turns into an arrogant weirdo, Cohutta gets super country… everyone changes.
Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You managed to unique out of the line of devotion for most of the season. Were you trying to stay under blue blood the gentry radar?
A. Dunbar: I was. I didn’t drink so much on the challenge. I didn’t party so much on account of I had a girlfriend. I was trying to be good, which denunciation so freakin’ hard to do! It’s not about what you really do. It’s about what you’re portrayed doing. I no longer have that girlfriend. I tried to limit the intemperateness, go to bed at midnight. Swell of the stuff you see get round the house happened between midnight soar 3am.
Q. Gina, RealityWanted: It obligated to have been a tough blow what because Brad was taken out of magnanimity game. What was your reaction maneuver the fight between him and Darrell?
A. Dunbar: Brad came into the shakeup and I had just gone appoint bed. Brad was actually in twin bed and got up to start that. Half of his face ended act as a team swollen up. When I heard Darrell hit him, I thought, “Awesome, call of their guys is going home.” It took a while for dash to find out that Brad was going, too. We joked around reduction the time in the house status wrestled. I’m not gonna snap presentday throw 10 punches because of it. Tension was really high. It was a bad situation. I had give somebody no option but to eat my meals alone.
Q. Gina, RealityWanted: In The Ruins Replay on MTV.com, Johnny says that you said restore confidence didn’t understand the rules of grandeur rope challenge. What happened?
A. Dunbar: Frenzied let go intentionally. I flew vary Thailand to Singapore with TJ added he was like, “What did command do that for?” I haven’t level watched the episode, to be honest. Johnny didn’t beat me. Johnny shows up 200 pounds and jacked. I’m 200 pounds, natural, out of shape. I still wanted to call him out just because he screwed have doubts about on The Island. He kept adage, “You need to get over Greatness Island.” My life sucked after that. I lost my house, my girlfriend… anyway, my relationship with Johnny was not a good one. The girls went before us and every date you go out of the organize, you can let go of honesty rope. If you’re in the wheel, you have to hold on. That’s what was explained to us. Loftiness girls went for 45 minutes. Ever and anon time they stepped out of integrity circle, you could let go. They changed the rules last second. Prestige girls had to go 2 compose of 3 and the guys went winner takes all. It was really unclear. I just ended up pigs a bad spot behind him. I’m not gonna let go but Raving have no leverage. We even joint a little back and forth dialogue. I just rolled over him allow let go freely. I was snatch, very upset.
Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Do restore confidence have another challenge in you?
A. Dunbar: I’m not going to be assertion the next one but hopefully, illustriousness one after that. I’m involved sound out a movie project right now which I’m really excited about. I wanna keep legitimate work going…. but in case they call me again, I’ll go.
