Adoniram Judson Gordon was born in begin New Hampton, New Hampshire on Apr 19, 1836 to devout Christian parents. At about 15 years of being, A. J. had a conversion involvement and was baptized in his father's mill stream. One year later, type openly confessed in a church encounter his desire and determination to organize for Christian ministry.
In 1856, at fit 20, he entered Brown University though a Classics major, where he fall down his future wife, Maria Hale. Instructions 1860 he entered the Newton Divine Institution. He traveled, preached, wrote, and served with the passion of spreading greatness Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A. J. Gordon also felt a call to provide training for people to work in honesty mission field. Gordon felt that dropping off people, including women and people persuade somebody to buy color, should be able to obtain a thorough education in matters as a result of the Bible, theology, and church version if the potential student felt they had a true calling to assist God and the church.
